When Major Nelson left, I knew the days of Xbox were numbered.
I have loved the Xbox brand and systems since their initial launch back in 2001, but in recent years they have just felt forgotten.
The UI is largely the same as it was 10+ years ago, they've added very few features in that time.
I have been patiently waiting for them to do something, anything really. In the days of the 360 there were events and energy around the system, and an aura of fun. They forgot how to have fun.
They took our avatars away in January, and frankly that was probably the death knell. Here there be no fun, no whimsy, this box is just a storefront - give us your money.
